Last year, Maymay and I had the immense pleasure of working with this friendly and stunningly beautiful young lady.  Heidi quickly became a friend and someone that I looked forward to seeing everyday.  We fell in love with her because of the love and kindness she showed Maymay each and every single time she saw her.  One night I overheard her singing and found out that this wonderful young lady is also insanely talented.  Who knew?

She's talented, funny, kind, beautiful, and down right adorable......and you will fall immediately in love with her voice and thank me for sharing her music with you.

You're welcome.

Seriously?  What is with all the unecessary phone names?  Get the new 4G LTE touch sonic bionic droid x2 razor evo maxx 3D HD 8950 by HTC-Motorola-Samsung.

Okay, maybe I exaggerated a tiny bit.

Why exactly does the uber pricey mineral water, that has been trickling through mountains for centuries, have a "Use By" date?

If you don't understand what today is, you're either living under a really big rock, or worse......you're just not geek enough to read this.  I'm assuming that if you're reading this, you speak at least a bare minimum of geek and I won't waste your time explaining.

I've spent today not only watching Star Wars, but also my absolute favorite parody.  Yes, I'm aware that most people may not have a favorite parody, but I'm not most people.

(Wow....that might be the most obvious thing I've ever said.)

Spaceballs

Put Mel Brooks in charge of "Star Wars" and invariably, it'll be the Schwartz that's with you. Rick Moranis stars in the 1987 satire, wearing a giant helmet and speaking without any particular resonance to his voice. Apparently Planet Spaceball is losing all of its air, and the president (played by Brooks, who also shows up as "Yogurt," the wisdom-dispensing sage who speaks in a Yiddish accent) has a plan to steal the air and kidnap Princess Vespa. It's typical Brooksian borscht belt-flavored madness and features John Candy (as Barfolomew) in fuzzy ears. Oy!

Why don't I get paid to make you laugh?

As I was sitting in yet another meeting, I realized how often something said in complete seriousness strikes me as completely funny.  The person speaking kept repeating the phrase, "let me put things into perspective for you", and then would continue trying to make whatever point they were attempting to have us understand.  Instead, all I was doing was trying hard to not raise my hand and show how I was able to help with putting things into perspective.

Let me put things into perspective for you..... ..persp(things)ective.

I don't think this is quite what the speaker was trying to get me to do, but this is where my brain decided to camp out.  And now I'm sharing it with you.

Yeah, you're welcome.
