I absolutely loved this movie. I was so good and funny. I loved that they used some of the old jokes and brought in some new ones. I'm not a big fan that they killed Vanessa but the opening credits were very funny. I also really loved that there was a fight scene with 9 to 5 as the song. Cable was awesome and I find it cute and sad that he carried around his daughter's teddy bear. I thought the ending was hilarious when Deadpool went back in time to fix the timeline. I am disappointed Stan Lee wasn't in this one. It's also kind of strange because he is always a cameo in the movie and he wasn't there. I'm not really sure how I feel about the kid Fire Fist. Honestly I think they could have given Russell a better name. I love Negasonic but to me it didn't really feel like her. She was more talkative than long sullen silences or mean comment. I can't believe X-Force was killed that fast. First mission and they all just died. Except for Domino. No matter what happened around her she never got hurt. She really was lucky though it really doesn't seem like much of a power. This movie is definitely worth watching more than once. I think it's better than the first one and can't wait to see more Deadpool. Ryan really pulls of this character and I really love that the main song is sung by Celine Dion.
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

This movie was so insanely good though it really messes with your emotions. It's full of action, comedy, and sadness. So much was going on and so many deaths or disappearances that I'm not ok with. Loki better be coming back because I am not happy that they killed him off. He is one of the best Marvel villains though he really needs to choose what side he's on because I just don't understand him. I'm really not ok with them taking Groot because they just got hi back after killing him in the first Guardians of the Galaxy. Nobody messes with my tree. I liked that Thor got his new weapon but I think he does better with his hammer. I also liked that they went to Nidavellir and showed a different part of the nine realms. The dwarf was more like a giant. He was huge. I really dislike that they killed Heimdall for he was one of my favorite Asgardians and probably Thor's only friend since all of his other friends were killed during Ragnarok. I am still confused on where Sif is in all of this because she wasn't fighting Ragnarok and she's not fighting the Infinity War. That doesn't seem like Sif at all. I do feel bad for Thor. He's lost everybody and really has nothing left. I love Spider-Man's new suit. The upgrades in this movie are awesome. So many super powers in one movie. How are they planing to add even more in the next one? I am sad that there is no Vision but truthfully I'm more sad that there is no Jarvis. I like Jarvis way better than the female A.I he has now. This movie is worth seeing and don't forget to watch the end credit. Those are always important. Also, there is only one after-credits scene and no mid-credit scenes, which is unusual for MCU films.
Global icon Dwayne Johnson headlines the action adventure “Rampage,” directed by Brad Peyton. Johnson stars as primatologist Davis Okoye, a man who keeps people at a distance but shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, incredibly rare albino silverback gorilla who has been in his care since he rescued the young orphan from poachers. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with discredited geneticist Kate Caldwell (Naomie Harris) to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.
This movie was really good and funny. I loved George the monkey. I also like that they ha Dwayne signing to him. It did feel a little bit like Kong vs. some version of Godzila vs. a Wolf. I did think that George's pranks were uncool though. Especially the one at the end of the movie. I don't understand how the Wyden siblings would think that those boxes of genetic serum wouldn't be damaged in the crash. It came from space so how would it not be damaged? I wasn't a big fan of the Wydens because they stole Caldwell's project causing her brother to die. They then had her put in prison for trying to stop them. I feel like George was at a disadvantage though. The wolf was a porcupine and a flying squirrel and the crocodile had tusks and looked like a Gigantspinosaurus. The Gorilla was just a giant Gorilla. How exacty does that make it a fair fight? I really disliked the man in charge when it came to the military. He was gonna bomb a city that still had humans in it. The beasts survived pretty much everything that was thrown at them so how was a bomb gonna work anyway? I liked Harvey Russell. His cowboy talk kind of added some comedy during the more serious scenes. This is definitely a good movie to see. Especially if you like Dwayne Johnson. It's full of action and things go BOOM!!
David was a really cool person to talk to. I walked up to him just to say hi and the conversation was pretty cool. David talked about Dark Knight and how he got his role in the movie, and how long it took to learn he got the role. It was interesting to hear the process and see how much time goes in before a movie is made. David also talked about how Christopher Nolan helped him during the filming, and what it was like to work with him. I found it even cooler that it was David's first role. What a great first role and I never would have guessed that just by watching the movie. He also told me his favorite villain is the Joker. David also talked about his movie Animals which he wrote himself. It sounds like a good movie and I'm going to watch it soon. David asked me about me. That was cool. Not many people ever do that. I told him I'm autistic and used to be non verbal. I told David about my website and he asked if I wanted to interview him. That made me excited. It was really awesome and he was super nice. I couldn't stop smiling afterwards because I was extremely happy. The rest of the day whenever he passed by the booth I was at, he would smile and wave. David is a talented actor and a good person. I definitely think that this is one of my favorite interviews that I've ever gotten to do. I look forward to seeing more of his work in the future.
Julie, Kayla and Sam are three high school seniors who make a pact to lose their virginity on prom night. Lisa, Mitchell and Hunter are three overprotective parents who flip out when they find out about their daughters' plans. They soon join forces for a wild and chaotic quest to stop the girls from sealing the deal -- no matter what the cost.
This movie wasn't funny at all. Parents trying to stop their kids from making a mistake on prom night,I just don't get what was supposed to be funny about it. It felt a little serious for it to be a comedy movie. Also what teen wold be stupid to leave their computer on with their messages going off. All three girls were also in the same car at the end of the movie so why were they texting each other. Same thing when they were in the limo. It made no sense to me. I don't get the point of this movie. It's not worth the money to watch a comedy that has no comedy in it. You will be very unhappy with it. I think Julie was a little harsh to her mother when she told her she wanted to get away from her. That's kind of mean to say when they were the ones to feed you and cloth you and put a roof over your head. She should have been better to her mom and appreciated her more.
In the year 2045, the real world is a harsh place. The only time Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) truly feels alive is when he escapes to the OASIS, an immersive virtual universe where most of humanity spends their days. In the OASIS, you can go anywhere, do anything, be anyone-the only limits are your own imagination. The OASIS was created by the brilliant and eccentric James Halliday (Mark Rylance), who left his immense fortune and total control of the Oasis to the winner of a three-part contest he designed to find a worthy heir. When Wade conquers the first challenge of the reality-bending treasure hunt, he and his friends-aka the High Five-are hurled into a fantastical universe of discovery and danger to save the OASIS.
This movie was so good. It was full of things from the 80's. They had so many references to movies and other games. I really liked seeing the t-rex,kong,and mechagodzilla. It would have been cooler if it had been the real godzilla though. The delorean was kind of cool too. They even turned 80's toys into weapons like the exploding rubik's cube. My favorite character is Artemis but I also really liked Sho. He was just so little. The Iron Giant was also pretty awesome. I didn't really understand why they were so worried about a bunch of kids. They probably would have done better and won if they were more focused on the game than worrying about a bunch of kids who are looking for the keys too. I think it was cool that the maker made it a challenge instead of just handing the OASIS over to anyone. He made sure that he could trust it to that person. I find it even cooler that they made his old partner Morrow a consultant after taking over the OASIS and liked even better that he shared it with his friends. Now the five of them share it. I kind of want them to make a ready player two and make a second movie. I'm not sure what the story would be but it'd be just as awesome. This is definitely a movie to go see and more than once, Maybe like five times. It was full of action and excitement and never got boring. I think everyone will love it.
When, by executive decree, all the canine pets of Megasaki City are exiled to a vast garbage-dump called Trash Island, 12-year-old Atari sets off alone in a miniature Junior-Turbo Prop and flies across the river in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.
Before the movie started there was a set of drums that was set up in the front of the theater. They played I think maybe three songs. It was hard to tell but it was really cool to watch and the sound was great. They had all these big movements with their arms and it looked like they would hit each other's sticks to add to the sound. At one point one of them lost a stick and another drummer gave up one and handed it to them. It was really cool.
The movie was kind of in the middle for me. It wasn't bad but I don't think it's worth money in a theater. The movie was spoken in Japanese besides the translator, the dogs, and the girl from Ohio. I also wasn't a big fan about how they kicked dog's out and placed them on trash island. Also how bad they were being treated. I like cats but I also like dogs and neither animal should be treated like that. I do like that the boy Atari went to go find his dog. He never gave up. It showed that he really cared for his dog. It made me really sad when the dog said he was leaving him even though he did it because he has puppies. I think he still could have stayed with his person while the dog's brother took on the bodyguard role. At first I though chief was going to be Spots the whole time but then Spots showed up out of nowhere to rescue Atari. I am glad that Atari's uncle gave up and realized what he did was wrong but I am mad that he did it in the first place. The world is big enough for all animals and no animal should be treated badly. The deserve respect just as much as we do.
Max and Annie's weekly game night gets kicked up a notch when Max's brother Brooks arranges a murder mystery party -- complete with fake thugs and federal agents. So when Brooks gets kidnapped, it's all supposed to be part of the game. As the competitors set out to solve the case, they start to learn that neither the game nor Brooks are what they seem to be. The friends soon find themselves in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn over the course of one chaotic night.
This movie was very funny and not what I thought it was. I thought it was gonna be a scary real life murder mystery where one of them was gonna be the killer. Kind of like that show Whodunnit. That really was a messed up murder mystery. Not only were they in one but two that were going on at the same time. I really did think that one of them was real. It wasn't the best movie but it wasn't bad. It's something to watch when you need to laugh. I love puzzles and mysteries but I would never want to be apart of something like that. That looked way too real to only be a game. Gary was kind of scary. I really thought he was a stalker or killer and he was gonna kill one of them. He was really creepy and got creepier every time he talked. Though I wasn't wrong that he had something to do with it. I just hope their next game night isn't as crazy or scary. I feel like that would give someone a heart attack or scar them for life. I think his brother took game night a little too far and over did it. I'd rather stick to board games. Also board games are not that boring I find them fun as long as everyone participates and enjoying themselves.
3 1/2 stars
Normally I don't like movies that are made from video games. They always look so stupid but this movie was awesome and I loved it. There was so much action and adventure in it and Lara was like Katniss times ten. Alicia killed it and it was really cool. I liked Lu Ren. I liked how he helped her escape and then went back for her when she didn't show up. He didn't have to do that. I do warn that there is a scene or two that will make you jump. I wasn't expecting the end to go the way it did but slightly glad it did because it definitely looks set up for a second movie. Overall it was a really good movie but I did think some of the ending was really stupid. The whole Himiko's tomb and what's inside it thing was really dumb. That really disappointed me when they revealed the mystery in the tomb. I thought there would be a lot more behind this and it was more like there was nothing. I definitely think it's worth seeing and you won't get bored with it. Especially when something gets to go BOOM! I like when things explode in movies. It makes them more fun. I get she wanted to find her dad but she should have just burned his research. I'm also pretty sure she could have found him without taking the research to the island. Then everything would be safe and she could have had her dad.
Everyone deserves a great love story, but for 17-year-old Simon Spier, it's a little more complicated. He hasn't told his family or friends that he's gay, and he doesn't know the identity of the anonymous classmate that he's fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, terrifying and life-changing.
This movie was really cute and sweet. I liked that he started writing to another gay person that also haven't told anyone his secret. I also liked that instead of giving him one love interest they give him multiple to keep you guessing. Though they did make it a little easy to figure it out. I know this is kind of realistic with how some people treat gays and that's what makes me sad. They are still people, humans just like us and it's not cool to bully people just because they don't like girls or guys. It's their choice and it shouldn't matter as long as they are happy. I just don't get why people have a problem with it. Just let them live their life. The cast was great, the story was really sweet and the ending was the best part. I wish people would accept people for who they are and not for who they want the to be. We have no rights to tell them what they can and can't do. Also if they aren't ready to tell their secrets then let them be secrets until they are ready. Martin was a very unlikable character. He had no right to post Simon's emails or even read them and it was very uncool of him. Blackmailing him wasn't cool either especially it was very obvious Abby liked someone else. I am happy that his friends forgave him and tried to help him find Blue. I also liked that everyone was there to see him try to get his love story. That's what I liked most about the end was that everyone was supporting him including Martin. This movie is worth seeing and you'll be happy you did.
