Jane Austen's classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England is faced with a new challenge -- an army of undead zombies.
This movie is good. I kind of liked that they added zombies. Mr.Darcy is cute and so was Mr.Bingley. I did like Darcy better though. My favorite parts were when the girls are getting ready for the dance and they are strapping on knives and swords. The other one is when they walk through the party in formation killing zombies. MATT SMITH!!!!!! I love him so much. He's my favorite doctor and he was good in this role. I did think it was a little predictable. Mr. Wickham was predictable and I didn't like him. I don't understand the whole thing with the four Horseman. They were there but they didn't do anything with them. What were they there for then? They were pointless characters.Out of all the girls I like Elizabeth the best. Everything seems to be about Jane. I liked the end. That was pretty good for an ending. The movie was entertaining and there was a lot of action. I really enjoyed it. It may be a movie that you watch more than once.
Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution, to paint a portrait of the man at its epicenter. The story unfolds backstage at three iconic product launches, ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac. His passion and ingenuity have been the driving force behind the digital age. However his drive to revolutionize technology was sacrificial. Ultimately it affected his family life and possibly his health. In this revealing film we explore the trials and triumphs of a modern day genius, the late CEO of Apple inc. Steven Paul Jobs.
The movie was good but it shows how big of a jerk he really was. I can't believe he denied that he had a daughter and denied that he named a computer after her. I also can't believe he didn't acknowledge her until he quit Apple. How do you ignore your own kid? He didn't seem very nice to the employees either. Everyone in that building should have been acknowledged for they work they've done and he didn't do that. I liked Kate Winslet. She was good in this movie. Michael and Jeff really did look like their characters. I wonder if she ever forgave him after everything he did. Did he try to spend more time with Lisa after the unveiling of the iMac? I kind of want to know what happened after. I do find it weird that he co founded Apple and then he founded the Next computer that was the competing computer. It did get him back into Apple though. He knew what he was doing even if he was a jerk. He still made a lot of money.
When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible-learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas.
I thought this movie was cute and funny. I thought the lost dad thing was kind of lame but I liked everything else. The baby panda's were adorable especially the one who fell in love with Tigress and followed her around everywhere. The thing Kai was swinging around I thought was stupid. Even though he had use for them they seemed pointless. I thought Mei Mei was really weird but I liked that her name Mei Mei. It means little sister. Why were Kai's eyes green? Animals don't have green eyes. My favorite parts were when Tigress was fighting with the baby panda in her hand and when Po said "Chitty Chitty Chat Chat."I loved that line. It was the best one in the movie. I also liked how he was teaching the Pandas kung fu. It was a strange way to do it but it worked. My favorite characters are Po, Viper, and Tigress. Although is Viper really doing kung fu. She's a snake and has no hands or feet to do it. How is she doing it anyway?
Two sisters decide to throw one last house party before their parents sell their family home.
I really enjoyed this movie. It was funny. Amy and Tina are good together and need to do more movies. I do find it wrong that the mom and dad would sell their home without asking Kate if she wanted it first. Especially since she had nowhere to live. I also found it wrong that Kate's daughter went to live with Maura without telling her and then no one told her. I think that's pretty crappy. I do wonder how Brinda kept getting back into the party because I know Kate locked the door at on point. Though I did kind of feel bad for her because she just wanted to be invited. I think Hayley should have watched where she was going because she got herself stuck in a sink hole although I think that could have been Brinda's fault since she put paint in the water thing. It probably clogged it forcing it to do that. Hayley was also kind of bratty and bossy to her mom though. How did she not get in trouble for talking like that to her mother? No parent in real life would be ok with that. The party looked fun except for the alcohol and drugs and I liked the funky music.
A frontiersman named Hugh Glass on a fur trading expedition in the 1820s is on a quest for survival after being brutally mauled by a bear.
As much as I don't like that Leo got mauled by a bear I liked the movie. I thought Hugh Glass had crappy men. He gets mauled by a bear so they leave him for dead and kill his son. I felt bad for him. He had to walk 200 miles to the nearest settlement on a broken leg and some really deep cuts. I like that the one Pownee Indian was helping him but I felt bad because Hugh wakes up to find him dead. Throughout the movie I was hating Fitzgerald more and more but he kept giving reasons to hate him. Both Fitzgerald and Bridger left him and then lied to the rest of their crew that Glass was dead. I thought it was sweet that Glass and his son Hawk didn't want to leave each others side. Hawk stayed by him the whole time before he was killed and they ditched glass and Glass didn't want to leave his dead son until he started walking towards the settlement. What's crazy to me is that in real life after he was mauled by a bear he still wanted to be a trapper. At that point I would be way too afraid to go back into the woods. I did like that he freed Powaqa from the men who took her and that she thanked him at the end.
Joy is the story of the title character, who rose to become founder and matriarch of a powerful family business dynasty.
This was such a good movie. It was cool to see how she came up with her idea for a new mop and to see how she handled business. She didn't even know anything about business when she did this. I liked that her ex husband was her friend after the divorce and helped her out. I feel bad that her family is so slimy about it. Her sister had no right to pay the money to the California people. Then they all claim she didn't pay them back when she did. I think its even cooler that she kept inventing things. She followed her heart and kept doing what she loved. It's really inspiring that she never gave up no matter how tough her journey got. I really loved that her grandma and her daughter were behind her every step of the way. It must have been the best feeling ever to have so many people buying her products and loving them. I loved Jennifer Lawrence in this movie. She really made the character.
