An ex-CIA operative is brought back in on a very personal mission and finds himself pitted against his former pupil in a deadly game involving high level CIA officials and the Russian president-elect.
I thought this movie was really good. I liked the action in it. A lot of things went BOOM!! in the movie. The movie had some twists in it. I liked Pierce Brosnan in this movie. He played a crazy ex- CIA agent named Devereaux but he was crazy in a way that after he passed through nothing was left. I think he should go back to being Chiron in Percy Jackson. He was so much better at it than Anthony Head. Mason had me confused until the end of the movie so at first I didn't like him as much. I also liked Alice. She was a tough girl although she did have a reason to be. The ending made me jump because I didn't see it coming. I'm still not a big fan of the bone breaking sound in movies. I also didn't like what Devereaux did to Sarah in the movie.
Life changes in an instant for young Mia Hall after a car accident puts her in a coma. During an out-of-body experience, she must decide whether to wake up and live a life far different than she had imagined.
I liked the movie but hated the ending. I thought there would be more to the end. I also thought that Mia and Adam's relationship was moving too quickly. I was very sad when the little brother died. I thought he was going to live or at least expected him to live. I also expected her to wake up to her family in the room. My favorite characters were Mia,Kim,Teddy, and Gramps. Teddy was the little brother that everybody wants. The brother nobody fought with. Gramps was a really wise man. Kim was a really cool friend and Mia was really talented at playing the cello. I think it would be cool to play an instrument. I just expected there to be more to the movie.

Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O'Neil and her cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan.
NINJA TURTLES!!!!!!!!!!!! Who doesn't love ninja teenage turtles? I love them. I have liked them for a long time, but this movie was really good and made me love these teenage ninjas. Michelangelo was really funny in this movie. He isn't my favorite, Leonardo is. I was really happy that Megan Fox wasn't as bad as I thought she was going to be. Shredder was very shreddy. I don't think that is a real word, but it fits for Shredder. He was scary with his armor on. Splinter was a cool looking rat. He is smart and a good teacher. I know it's probably because they are mutants or teenagers, but they really eat a bunch of pizza. I don't think that's good for turtles.
The Kadam family clashes with Madame Mallory, proprietress of a celebrated French restaurant, after they open their own nearby eatery, until undeniable chemistry causes the Madame to take gifted young chef Hassan under her wing.
mmm....another movie about food. I'm not a big fan of spicy foods, and I've never eaten Indian food, but everything looked so good. I really wanted to eat it all. I've never had French food either, but I want to try it all now. Who knew you could add stuff to a 200 year old recipe and make it better? Chefs. Chefs know this. I liked this movie even though it made me hungry. Helen Mirren was good at playing a semi-bitter lady. I liked her, but liked Hassan better. I liked this movie and it had me very hungry by the end of it.

In the span of a single day, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run towards the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot.
I don't know what it would be like to be a storm chaser, but this movie looked accurate and showed how dangerous it can be. Storm chasers are tough and have an important job. They are crazy to chase dangerous storms, but it's important to give the information about the storms to warn people and save lives. I learned a lot. I never knew tornadoes can become a fire funnel. That is scary but cool to see. The effects in this movie were really good, and I liked how brave people were in the storm. I really liked seeing Nathan Kress in this. Seeing him with a camera reminded me of him when he was on ICarly.
This film, based on Lois Lowry's book, tells the story of a perfect world. Everyone here is happy. When Jonas is 12 years old, he's chosen to be the community's Receiver of Memories. He enters into training with an old man called The Giver. From the Giver, Jonas learns about pain, sadness, war, and all the unhappy truths of the "real" world. He quickly realizes that his community is fake. Confronted with this reality, Jonas faces difficult choices about his own life and his future.
This movie was not good until the middle then it got boring again. It also doesn't help that it's a semi-black and white movie. The acting was good but there was no action to keep me interested, and no comedy to make me laugh, no horror to scare me (which I don't like those anyway), and no drama. I liked Taylor Swift but she was unrecognizable until you see her face. I like Alexander Skarsgard in Battleship and he played his role well in The Giver, but I think Commander Stone Hopper is his best character. Meryl Streep was good at being a very serious person. It makes me wonder how many times did she have to film it before she stopped laughing at herself. Or does not everyone laugh when they are trying to keep a serious face for so long? Not a lot made sense to me but I didn't read the book. Also I'm not sure how close to the book the movie really was.
