The story of Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple, whose challenge of their anti-miscegenation arrest for their marriage in Virginia led to a legal battle that would end at the US Supreme Court.

I thought this movie was so adorable. They loved each other so much they fought for their marriage. They fought so hard to stay together even when people were telling them to give up and divorce each other. That was just wrong. I do like that there was a lawyer who wanted to take this on and help them. She even had some advice from Robert Kennedy to go to the Civil Rights Liberties Union. They listened and tried everything to win this fight. I loved that they fought the state in the Supreme Court and won. They changed the Constitution. Not only were they free in Virginia but also in other states because they took that law away. The thing I loved the most was that when he died she never remarried or even considered it. She spent the days with her children, grandchildren, and neighbors. She even supported gay marriage. I think it's cool that she did all of this. Not only did she fight for her marriage but for others too. She may not see herself as a hero but she is one to other people. They changed lives by fighting the law and I don't think that will be something people will forget. This movies was amazing and should definitely be watched. One of the best love stories ever. Maybe even better than the Notebook and that was good too.

A linguist is recruited by the military to assist in translating alien communications.

I thought this movie was actually pretty good. Some of it didn't make sense to me though. Just because she teaches and studies language what made the Military think she could figure out alien language? I didn't even know what they meant. It just looked like a bunch of large circles to me. The aliens reminded me of War of the Worlds. Sometimes when they showed them they played that same weird sound. They also looked like Octopi. I thought it was really weird that the whole time that they showed visions of her and a little girl it was really the future. I was actually very surprised the aliens were there to help humanity and not destroy it. It's different then all the other alien movies and I like that. Who said aliens had to take over Earth? There may be nice ones out there. It's not like we actually know what's in space. It's just like how we don't know how much is hidden in the ocean. I think the fact that this whole vision thing was a "weapon" was super crazy. The ship kind of made me laugh because it looks like a banana. Octopus looking aliens driving a banana. It really is funny to think about. I still want to know how she was able to figure out what the ink circles meant. What if she had the words wrong or the sentences wrong? How did she know what to write back without accidentally starting a war? How would she know what she is saying is right? How did the Military even know she could figure it out? What if they were wrong? They could of made everything worse. It's already bad the other countries tried to start a war with them.

In 1942, an intelligence officer in North Africa encounters a female French Resistance fighter on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. When they reunite in London, their relationship is tested by the pressures of war.

This was a good movie but it was a bit predictable. I thought Max and Marianne mad a really cute couple. They were perfect for each other but as soon as they told him she was a German spy it was obvious that it was going to be true. There were some twists though. I was actually pretty surprised at some of the things. The way he  asked her to marry him was pretty strange though. It was more like he was telling her to marry him. Kind of weird. I'm surprised she said yes to that. Though if he didn't want it to be true why didn't he just burn any evidence on her or leave before they finished the investigation? I'm actually confused on why he stayed and looked into it rather than leave. I thought their baby was adorable but they most showed he baby asleep. I like that he tried everything to help his wife but how was he so calm that she lied to him. She wasn't who he thought she was which also makes me want to know her real name is.  Was she even really French? How can he be so fine with her lying to him when he has no idea who she really is? What if everything she said was scripted or something? What if she read a file on the real Marianne  and was saying all the things about her rather than stuff that is true? Trust no one. Isn't that what all spies say? What if she sold more secrets in the future? It just doesn't add up. She betrayed them and he's cool with it just because he loves her. I think I would have liked it better if they had answered some of those questions.

Review: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a 2001 book written by British author J. K. Rowling (under the pseudonym of the fictitious author Newt Scamander) about the magical creatures in the Harry Potter universe. It purports to be Harry Potter's copy of the textbook of the same name mentioned in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (or Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the US), the first novel of the Harry Potter series. It includes several notes inside it supposedly handwritten by Harry, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger, detailing their own experiences with some of the beasts described, and including in-jokes relating to the original series.

Fantastic Beasts purports to be a reproduction of a textbook owned by Harry Potter and written by magizoologist Newt Scamander, a character in the fictional Harry Potter series. In the series, Magizoology is the study of magical creatures.

Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts, provides the Foreword and explains the purpose of the special edition of this book (the Comic Relief charity). At the end, he tells the reader, "...The amusing creatures described hereafter are fictional and cannot hurt you." He repeats the Hogwarts motto: "Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus", Latin for "Never tickle a sleeping dragon".

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them contains the history of Magizoology and describes 85 magical species found around the world. Scamander says that he collected most of the information found in the book through observations made over years of travel and across five continents. He notes that the first edition was commissioned in 1918 by Mr Augustus Worme of Obscurus Books. However, it was not published until 1927. It is now in its fifty-second edition.

In the Harry Potter universe, the book is a required textbook for first-year Hogwarts students, having been an approved textbook since its first publication. It is not clear why students need it in their first year, as students do not take Care of Magical Creatures until their third year. However, it may be used as an encyclopedia of Dark creatures studied in Defence Against the Dark Arts classes. In his foreword to the book, Albus Dumbledore notes that it serves as an excellent reference for Wizarding households in addition to its use at Hogwarts.

The book features doodles and comments added by Ron Weasley. The comments would appear to have been written around the time of the fourth book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. These doodles add some extra information for fans of the series (for example the "Acromantula" entry has a comment confirming that Hogwarts is located in Scotland) along with comic relief (such as Ron saying "you're not kidding" when talking about the Hungarian Horntail being the most fearsome dragon of all, a reference to Harry's encounter with one in the fourth book).

Integrated in the design, the cover of the book appears to have been clawed by an unidentified animal.

This movie was fantastic! I loved every single minute of this movie. It was so magical and it was cool to be back in the world of Harry Potter. I love that they mentioned Hogwarts and Dumbledore. I got that Newt was in trouble for exposing wizardry but he wasn't the only one if you think about it. I think out of all the beasts in the movie I liked the eagle with the two sets of wings, the snake bird thing, and the platypus hedgehog looking creature who stole shiny objects. I also liked the little green tree he carried around. It kind of reminded me of baby Groot. I do think it's really cool that it was based on magic before Harry Potter. I personally still think wizards should be able to live freely among muggles...or the non-mag. The truth is that they aren't protecting wizards. They are protecting us from wizards. Not all of them are dangerous. Just the dark ones. The special effects were amazing and the acting was fantastic. The imagery inside his suit case of monsters was gorgeous. I loved how he had different environments for the creatures. I felt like I was in the wizarding world again. I do want Newt Scamander's suit case. It's kind of like Mary Poppin's carpet bag, except full of creatures instead of items. I think Eddie was the perfect Newt and that nothing could have made this better. I want to see it again. Go see this movie. You will fall in love with the wizarding world all over again.

After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy, the happiest Troll ever born, and the curmudgeonly Branch set off on a journey to rescue her friends.

This movie was so bad. I never really liked those toys either. They were always creepy looking. Also what made the Bergens so miserable? Who made it a rule that only Trolls were happy creatures? No one was allowed to be happy unless they eat a Troll because they are the only happy creatures in the land. I think that's bologna because that is not how happiness works. Though I have thought about this. If Trolls are eaten so people can be happy wouldn't an unhappy Troll not work? If t
hey eat an unhappy Troll the Bergens would still be unhappy? Wouldn't they have given up on eating the Trolls? I don't see why the Trolls wouldn't pretend they were sad all the time. I also found it very stupid that Poppy threw a party when they were hiding from the Bergens. It was like World War Z when Jerusalem people started singing and the dormant Zombies then started climbing over the walls and attacked. Both very dumb moves on their part. I wasn't a big fan of Creek. He just sold out his friends like they never existed. He didn't even care about them. The worst friend ever. The only thing I liked about this movie was that it was Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake. Everything else was bad. Also how did no one notice Bridget's colorful hair was a bunch of Trolls before they revealed the truth? It was obviously not her real hair. Especially when she was skating with King Gristle. You don't need Trolls to be happy. This was not worth watching. I'm not even sure if kids would like it. After hearing Branches story I did kind of feel really bad for him. His grandma got killed for saving his life. He felt like it was his fault that whole time.

A young woman uses her navigational talents to set sail for a fabled island. Joining her on the adventure is her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui.

This movie was funny. I loved the Hei Hei the Rooster. He was very funny. The pig was adorable. Kind of like a little dog. I liked Dwayne Johnson as Maui and Auli'i was really good. I would love to be a Disney princess. I loved the songs. You're Welcome,Shiny and How Far I'll Go were really good.  I didn't expect Maui to be the thief. I thought he was just someone she needed help from. I think it was cool how she refused to give up and how she kept trying when Maui kept trying to ditch her. I was very disappointed when she actually thought about giving up. She was he first princess who has ever done that. They never give up. I'm also very surprised they didn't kill off the parents. That's in everything. They either disappear or die.  What I don't understand is how they can make her look wet when she came out of the ocean but when she is crying her face is perfectly dry from tears. That's not possible. Tamatoa the giant crab was kind of funny too. Him singing about being shiny was kind of awesome. I agree with him though. I like shiny things. They are so pretty and sometimes very sparkly. Who doesn't like sparkles? I personally think the chicken was the best character though. He was so stupid but so funny. He dived into the water and was upside down,he needed help to eat food because he kept missing and he couldn't figure out to hop out of the cargo hole in the boat. The water even got frustrated and trapped him in there so he would stop jumping into the water. It was different than the others but I liked it. I liked that there were no princes to save the day. It's moving into stories that girls don't need a man and I like that. The men don't always have to be the hero. They may have been evil little guys but the Kakamora were so cute. Little coconuts with faces. Well they had to draw on the face but still adorable.

Review: Dr. Strange

Dr. Stephen Strange's (Benedict Cumberbatch) life changes after a car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he looks for healing, and hope, in a mysterious enclave. He quickly learns that the enclave is at the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying reality. Before long, Strange is forced to choose between his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.

This movie was awesome. I loved it. So much action and and some cool looking mind bending tricks. The Ancient One looked like the White Witch mixed with Voldemort. Except she had a nose and wasn't ugly looking like him. My favorite part had to be the cloak of levitation. It was beating up one of K
aecilius' men and it kind of reminded me of what Hulk did to Loki in the Avengers. It has a mind of it's own and I love it! Best magical item in the movie. The movie was well made and action packed. A lot of cool warping building scenes and some crazy mystical magic. I thought Doctor Strange was the only person with his power. I thought each superhero had something different. Like how Iron Man has his suit, Thor has his lightening and hammer, and Bruce has the Hulk. There were a bunch of other people who had his ability. I think it's cool but I thought they were all one of a kind. I also liked the scene where he stole books from the library using a portal while Wong was listening to Beyonce. That really made me laugh. It was funny, full of awesome and totally worth watching. I would love to see it again. I think people would really enjoy this movie. Some of the comments were pretty funny too especially when he's meeting Kaecilius for the first time. Mr. Doctor Strange. It just sounds silly. I thought it was really cute when his cloaked wiped his face. That cloak really took care of him. I wish I had a really cool cloak like that. I think it's way better than Harry Potter's, though I think that one is pretty cool too. I think I just need to get a cool cloak. The acting was awesome and Benedict nailed it. No one can take this role and replace him. He was fantastic.  Just remember to stay and watch the TWO credit scenes. It's Marvel people. You don't leave until the lights come up.
