MIRACLES FROM HEAVEN is based on the incredible true story of the Beam family. When Christy (Jennifer Garner) discovers her 10-year-old daughter Anna (Kylie Rogers) has a rare, incurable disease, she becomes a ferocious advocate for her daughter's healing as she searches for a solution. After Anna has a freak accident, an extraordinary miracle unfolds in the wake of her dramatic rescue that leaves medical specialists mystified, her family restored and their community inspired. ![]() I loved this movie. It was really good. It really is amazing how she fell thirty feet with no bruises or broken bones. It's also amazing how it cured her digestive disease. I feel bad for her because that looked really painful. I never thought trees could be hollow like that. How does that even happen? I liked Dr. Nurko. He looks like a fun doctor. I also really liked that when her family thought she was lactose intolerant they all gave up pizza with her. It was sweet how they all supported her like that. I also liked Angela, the plane ticket sales guy, the new receptionist and Dr. Nurko. Angela took the day off of work to give Anna a tour of Boston. The ticket man turned off his computer pretending the system was broken and gave the family tickets. The receptionist went to get Dr. Nurko even though he was busy and Dr. Nurko stopped to help her. All the other doctors just told them it was something else and let it slide. It really is a feel good movie but you may want to bring tissues. 5 stars
