A girl named Sophie encounters the Big Friendly Giant who, despite his intimidating appearance, turns out to be a kind-hearted soul who is considered an outcast by the other giants because, unlike them, he refuses to eat children.

I thought this movie was cute and weird at the same time. I liked it though. Giant Country somewhere near England is kind of cool and scary. Unlike Sophie I probably would have screamed if there was a giant trying to carry me off. I liked how they became best friends and looked out for each other. I really liked how Sophie taught him to stand up to the other giants. It's not cool to be bullied. I would prefer a BFG over a giant. I don't want to be eaten. Sophie was pretty brave. I'm surprised the Queen didn't freak out at first but I like how she treated them.Though I think the ending could have been better. Like what if the Queen adopted Sophie instead of having her back in the orphanage? I do like how she gave them breakfast. That part was kind of my favorite. The funniest part of the movie. How did they get bubbles to go  downwards? They go up. I pretty sure even if you turned a bottle of soda upside down the bubbles still go up. I liked that they gave the giants weird words like jiggyraffes(giraffes). I love made up words. They are fun. For a giant BFG was a really fast runner and a really good hider. How did no one notice him even if he was hidden? I get he was wearing a black cloak but he is still pretty big. Big things can't be hidden that easily. They're too noticeable. I don't understand why the giants are afraid of water. It's not like they were melting like the Wicked Witch of the West.
