Bianca is a content high school senior whose world is shattered when she learns the student body knows her as 'The DUFF' (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) to her prettier, more popular friends. Now, despite the words of caution from her favorite teacher, she puts aside the potential distraction of her crush, Toby, and enlists Wesley, a slick but charming jock, to help reinvent herself. To save her senior year from turning into a total disaster, Bianca must find the confidence to overthrow the school's ruthless label maker Madison and remind everyone that no matter what people look or act like, we are all someone's DUFF.

I liked that Mae Witman, Bella Thorne, and Robbie Amell were in the movie. I have liked them for a long time and seeing them all together was fun. I thought this movie was good and had many funny moments. It is based on a book about a high school girl who finds out she is the designated ugly fat friend, and then she works to reinvent herself. This makes me sad. I don't like that she felt she had to change herself to have friends. I know what it's like to not have friends and it hurts. It was really hard to see Bianca being hurt like that. Bianca had friends, but her cute neighbor told her that she was only their DUFF. That made her not act like a friend to them. Madison was a scary mean girl. I would dislike running into someone like that. No one should ever be called a DUFF or any name. It's mean and not cool to say to anyone, and it is something only a bully would say. I would like to know who invented social statuses because I think it's dumb.
