Sudanese refugees given the chance to resettle in America arrive in Kansas, where their encounter with employment agency counselor forever changes all of their lives.
I liked this movie a lot. I found it really cool that two of the characters are played by real life Sudanese refugees. I don't think it's right that they had to be refugees in the first place. I thought it was funny how they were trying to figure out how to use our technology. I liked how they visited Jack's cows a lot. I liked that Carrie offered to house Abital so she could be with her brothers. I really disliked the store manager for being mean to Jeremiah for helping someone. I really liked that they didn't have the same parents but considered themselves brothers and sister to each other. They took care of each other like they were a family. I liked that Theo saved them from the soldiers and still lived after being caught. The story was told very well and it made me sad that we live like we do and they spend their lives running away from home to survive.
