The Kadam family clashes with Madame Mallory, proprietress of a celebrated French restaurant, after they open their own nearby eatery, until undeniable chemistry causes the Madame to take gifted young chef Hassan under her wing. ![]() mmm....another movie about food. I'm not a big fan of spicy foods, and I've never eaten Indian food, but everything looked so good. I really wanted to eat it all. I've never had French food either, but I want to try it all now. Who knew you could add stuff to a 200 year old recipe and make it better? Chefs. Chefs know this. I liked this movie even though it made me hungry. Helen Mirren was good at playing a semi-bitter lady. I liked her, but liked Hassan better. I liked this movie and it had me very hungry by the end of it. 4 1/2 stars
