Another year of the Purge. This time instead of it being about one family it's about multiple people who get trapped outside during the Purge. I still don't get why this is some tradition. Also why is government apart of the Purge? Aren't they the ones who say crime is illegal? Now they have government trucks going around killing people? There is so much wrong with that. I liked that Sergeant went to help Cali and Eva. For a second I thought he was going to let them die. Though I had a feeling he would help them. I did think he was a purger even though he sort of was. He was only after one person and even then he didn't kill anyone. I really liked that the guy he was after saved his life too. A life for a life. I did think it was kind of unfair for Shane and Liz because the people who made them a target cut their wires. They basically started purging before the purge started which is not legal. They should have been arrested. They were doing illegal stuff before it became the hour to start purge which is unfair to the people not purging. I still hate those masks but less creepy than the ones from the first movie. I still don't see a point to wear them when there is no reason to hide your identity. Crime is legal on the night of the purge. It was kind of sad to see Cali's grandfather die even though he went to do it on purpose. It was his choice. I just think he should have talked to his family before just leaving the way he did. That was kind of unfair and a mean thing to do to the family. Even if they were getting paid for his death. Although it felt like the lower class people are the only ones getting killed in these movies. I doubt rich people hate lower class that much to do that.
