A young man, separated from his family in WWII, disguises himself as a Nazi SS Officer and uncovers more than just his family whereabouts. ~ IMDb ![]() I really liked this movie. It was powerful, sad, and happy all at once. Elek was a Jewish man who went out of his way to save as many Jewish families as he could. He dressed up as a Nazi SS officer and tried to stop other officers from killing the other Jews. He then hid them where they would be safe. Elek starts with the people of the yellow star houses and moves on to others getting killed. He lost some friends during this plan, but he still tried to save more people. Hannah is the girl he loved, and she even lost her sister Rachel. Elek did try to get her away from the Nazis. I liked Colonel Webber because he killed a Nazi and let the Jews go. I felt really bad for Elek because the Nazis took his family to a concentration camp and killed them in the gas showers. By the end of the movie I just wanted to cry because it hurts to see people getting murdered because of their religion or nationality. They were treated unfairly just because they were Jewish. I hate that. 5 stars ![]() IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please visit the facebook page of Walking with the Enemy.
