Maleficent
Angelina Jolie is the perfect Maleficent. Wicked and magical, yet motherly and somehow endearing. She proves that acting isn't just reciting lines, but the nuances of each lifted eyebrow or sneer. Angelina isn't portraying Maleficent, she is Maleficent. Sam Riley makes a perfect minion as Diaval, a beautiful raven that offers his life in service after Maleficent saves him. He was a perfect match with Jolie. I was mesmerized by the movie and my only compliant is the overly annoying pixies. This is a stunningly beautiful movie that you should see immediately.
Blended
Well...it wasn't terrible. Truthfully, there were a couple of decent scenes and I did laugh once. Overall it wasn't the worst movie I've seen, just far from the best.
Chef
I'm extremely glad I ate before seeing this movie, but it didn't help much. The food in this was unbelievably incredible. I just wanted to eat everything Chef Carl made. I only wish there was taste-o-vision. Yeah, there was a storyline that was enjoyable and funny, but truthfully...I just want to eat EVERYTHING he made. I will now master making a grilled cheese sandwich that crunches as perfectly as the one Chef Carl made. Hopefully.
